People from all backgrounds contribute in many different ways to local communities and economies including new Queenslanders — they work hard, start businesses, employ other Queenslanders, revitalise regional centres, grow sporting clubs and volunteer organisations, and enrich schools, music and arts.

Sometimes it can be hard to find a way to feel part of a community. And sometimes it can be hard to know how to welcome people in.

Queensland has a place for everyone and when everyone gets involved, our communities grow better for us all.
