The Minister for Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs is seeking nominations to join the Multicultural Queensland Advisory Council (the Council).
The Council provides advice to the Minister on opportunities and barriers facing people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and how to create a more inclusive and harmonious Queensland.
Nominations are being sought for new members for a 3-year term commencing 1 August 2022. You must be a resident of Queensland to apply.
Nominations are encouraged from people of different cultural backgrounds, ages, experiences, abilities, gender, sexual orientation, and from regional and rural communities.
Regional and rural members will not be out of pocket when it comes to travelling to meetings. Some meetings taking place in regional areas across Queensland.

Your application will be assessed by a selection panel with a shortlist to be provided for the Minister’s consideration.
