Multicultural Affairs Queensland stakeholder database and multicultural resource directory guidelines

Multicultural Affairs Queensland has developed and maintains a stakeholder database. Using information from that database, Multicultural Affairs Queensland also publishes an online Multicultural Resource Directory.

The resource directory has contact information for Government and non-government services, diverse cultural groups and other organisations who provide support and/or services to people from all backgrounds.

Organisations listed in the directory have consented to share their details publicly. Organisations listed on the database and directory are responsible for providing Multicultural Affairs Queensland with updates or changes to their contact information.

To add or update your information, please complete the online form or email Ma_Database@cyjma.qld.gov.au.

Eligibility requirements for inclusion in the Multicultural Resource Directory

The following organisations can be included in the online directory:

• migrant/refugee services
• organisations representing or servicing diverse cultural groups in Queensland
• local government organisations
• non-government community services
• Government services
• relevant not-for-profit organisations
• cultural capability training providers.

Organisations listed in the directory should provide a service that benefits people from all backgrounds. Multicultural Affairs maintains the right to reject or omit an organisation from the directory if it does not meet this criteria and is deemed unsuitable for publication. In this scenario, the organisation will be notified in writing.
