Children and young people info

If you are a child or young person in care, this information is for you.

When children and young people come into care, it’s important they understand their rights, are supported to have their say in decisions that affect them and know who they can talk to if they have a problem.

The people who work for Child Safety are responsible for making sure children and young people in care are safe, well looked after and have their rights upheld.
